Bonfire Station FAQs for couples
Does Bonfire Station supply any furniture for the wedding ceremony or reception ?
Absolutely! Furniture for both the ceremony and reception is included in the venue hire. This includes wooden benches, arbours and signing tables, as well as all our chairs and tables onsite. You’re welcome to bring in additional pieces if you’d like, but there’s no need to hire a thing. We’ve got you covered!
Do we do the styling ourselves?
We’re happy to set up our furniture in the layout you’d prefer if you let us know in advance. However, the final touches and decoration will be up to you to make it truly your own.
Who will be at the venue on the day? What happens if something goes wrong?
Our property manager will be on-site for your event to help coordinate matters concerning the property, such as vendor setup, helping with unexpected issues, managing noise, etc.
What is your wet weather option ?
Between our pavilion, bar building, and veranda, we have plenty of undercover space to keep everyone comfortable, rain or shine.
For ceremonies, most couples opt for our weekend package, which allows flexibility to adjust the schedule if needed. Alternatively, you can relocate under our pavilion or inside our building.
If you’d like additional coverage, you're welcome to bring in your own suppliers, or we can connect you with trusted local vendors for marquees and stretch tents.
Does Bonfire Station have accommodation options on-site?
Our on-site accommodation for 50 guests ensures everyone can fully enjoy the festivities. With beds just meters away, it's easy to tuck in the kids, grab a jacket or change your shoes and return to the celebration.
Does Bonfire Station allow camping?

Is the venue handicap accessible if we have any guests with mobility needs?

What is Bonfire Station’s event curfew?
On weekend nights, the bar and music close at 11pm. Guests who aren’t staying onsite are kindly asked to depart by 11:30pm. For those staying with us, you’re welcome to continue the celebration in the garden for the after party. We’re also happy to provide suggestions on how to structure your wedding day to make the most of every moment.
Do you have any wedding recovery options for the next day?
We do offer a delicious recovery breakfast the following morning, served between 8 am and 9 am. You're also welcome to join us for our Sunday Session starting at 12 pm on Sunday to keep the celebrations going!
Does Bonfire Station allow pets onsite?
We know how important fur babies are for many. For our celebrations, we only allow the couple’s dog to join. Due to the working nature of our farm, the dog must be kept on a leash at all times. Please keep in mind that someone will need to be responsible for the dog throughout the celebration.
Can we have candles?
Candles are not permitted inside the bar building, but you’re welcome to use them outside, weather permitting, as long as they are contained in a vessel. Our management reserves the right to ask for candles to be extinguished at any time if they are deemed a safety risk.
We strongly recommend battery-operated candles to avoid any disappointment.
Can I bring my own caterer?
Bonfire Station has an in-house chef who prepares delicious meals and caters to all dietary requirements. You also have the option to handle some of your own meals and snacks using our guest kitchen. While we typically don’t allow external caterers - except for desserts and niche services - we’re open to discussing options for midweek and low-season bookings.
Do you offer a cake cutting service?
We don’t offer a formal cake cutting service, but there’s usually a friend or family member who’s more than happy to step in and help.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Bonfire Station is a fully licensed venue, so we’ve got the drinks covered for you. Our package includes 4 hours of drink service, featuring local wines (sparkling, white, and red), craft beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic options. We also offer spirits available for purchase at the bar. After the 4-hour package, you have the option to either let your guests pay for their own drinks, extend the drink package, or set up a tab.
Can we throw confetti?

Are they any noise restriction?
Bonfire Station offers an in-house sound system for events. Any sound devices or performers must be pre-approved.
Acoustic performers can set up inside or outside before 7 pm; after that, they must perform inside. Bands or DJs are required to set up inside our bar building. All external music vendors have to comply with our regulations. Celebrants and MC can bring their own speakers and microphones.
Music must be turned down to ambient levels at 10:00pm on week nights and 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Noise from guests shouting, singing loudly etc also needs to not exceed noise levels.
